It's satisfying when an apparent
"bad guy" is caught with his hand in the cookie jar and the hope is the
tough new language included in the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act,
specifically the presumption of stealing from the government if a
company misrepresents itself as a small business, is leveraged and
enforced, often. The section of this new bill related to fraud seems
likely to be part of SBA's case for suspending GTSI given the
information in GTSI's internal email "First Source Customer Communications and Representation" that was attached to the Washington Post article last Friday.
I applaud SBA for taking this step and for hopefully sending a message to the community and other "bad guys."
We can only hope.
