When the 2018 National Defense Authorization Act finally arrived, it was chock full of changes that will have positive and negative impacts on industry organizations. Some of those changes affected the:
  • SBA HUBZone Program;
  • use of Lowest-Price Technically Acceptable procurement procedures;
  • Micro-Purchase and Simplified Acquisition Thresholds;
  • DoD Debriefings;
  • Protest procedures;
  • and more.
During this lunch discussion hosted by our friends and partners at Koprince Law guest team member Matthew Schoonover provides an overview of top changes in the 2018 NDAA impacting small federal contractors, and what companies need to know about those changes.

Matt is a Senior Associate Attorney at Koprince Lawwhere his practice focuses exclusively on providing legal solutions to federal government contractors. Matt is at home representing clients in claims against the government, bid protests (at the Government Accountability Office, FAA Office of Dispute Resolution for Acquisition, and Court of Federal Claims), in small business and socioeconomic status protests at the Small Business Administration, and in appeals before the SBA Office of Hearings and Appeals. Matt also assists clients with requests for equitable adjustment, claims, and appeals at the Boards of Contract Appeals and Court of Federal Claims.

Pre-registration is required. Lunch provided.
