As we continue to better align our resources to the benefits our members deserve, we're creating more ease by which the benefits can be leveraged. A previous post mentioned our new membership categories and now we've launched home pages for just over half of the memberships.

Each of the linked membership categories or membership names is a live link available for those members to check out their pages. What's also coming their way are new benefits ranging from weekly market intelligence reports to recurring industry education videos and webinars, all tied to their membership level.
We'll be lighting up more benefits and the other memberships shortly, so stay tuned!
Membership With A Purpose
The membership activities we are in the process of rolling out for 2017 (and beyond!) are ones we believe are 'right-sized' to support the needs of today's government contractors.
Collaboration will always be a critical component and we've increased the ability for members to learn about one another to foster meaningful business activities, no matter where members are located. The member directory on this portal paired with discussion forums and recurring online learning opportunities focused on business operations and business opportunities are just two of the ways we plan to make this happen.
Additionally, we've developed a number of deliverables that increase based on the membership type. Each comes with an array of useful information and activities to help with business growth.
Basic - The Individual membership, our entry-level access to our business community and all of the resources we make available resides here.
Education & Training - Everyone seeking to increase the accuracy and efficiency of their Marketing, Business Development and Capture activities will be right at home here. This category includes all of the benefits found in the Basic membership category plus what amounts to a near "all access pass" to our growing library of education and training programs. There are general Education & Training memberships for Individuals and Companies and topic-specific programs like our Simplified Acquisition Growth Engine™ and Competitive Intelligence Bootcamp™ that include continuous learning and group-based support for reach-back while doing battle in the trenches.
Advisory - Take the Education & Training general membership benefits and add to them a strategic cohort and you've arrived at our newest offering. The Individual and Corporate memberships found here foster ongoing learning through the Education & Training benefits, targeted insights from government contracting thought-leaders and monthly virtual cohort roundtables.

Networking, Education and Special Events
Business Over Breakfast at Silver Diner in Tysons is a small yet powerful networking and topic-based discussion opportunity for Members and Not Yet Members. With few exceptions, we meet every Wednesday morning at 7:30AM with an opportunity for guests to feed their bodies and minds!
Security Clearances are a game-changer in federal contracting. While they are much sought after, they are very misunderstood. Throughout the year we'll host seminars and roundtables focused on building the knowledge of U.S. companies in the area of personnel and facility security clearances. On January 20th in Columbia, MD and February 3rd in McLean, VA, we'll host 'Clearing the Air About Facility & Personnel Security Clearances' and answer a host of pressing questions to debunk and demystify these programs. Both events are hosted as part of our CxO Federal Forum with participation exclusively reserved for business leaders (Owners, Presidents, CEO, COO, CFO, etc.) of U.S. owned and operated companies.
On Wednesday, December 6, 2017 we'll kickoff the 2017 Holiday Charity Bash in McLean, VA with a bigger goal and even better event (some folks at the last event can't imagine 'better' is possible!). Education & Training
We're making it easier for anyone (anywhere) to get substantive education and training at anytime! Last summer we launched our B2G Essentials e-Classroom and hosted a number of facilitated and self-paced online and blended (in-person and online) training sessions. In fact, just before Christmas, we wrapped up a 9-week Competitive Intelligence Bootcamp that included participants from the local area, Minnesota, Washington State and one that was OCONUS!
Last year when I presented at government contracting conference in Tulsa, Des Moines and Omaha, participants received access to online versions of the presentations (some that included quizzes and tests!) as a follow-up to the live session. The feedback from that was outstanding!
We'll be adding more content to the e-classroom, to include content from other industry thought-leaders who always bring their 'A' game!
In the coming days we'll be announcing major changes. To start, we're increasing the level of give and establishing specific objectives and outcomes for each membership program offered. Focused on training? Peer support for professional development? Building and feeding your company pipeline? There are memberships to suit your needs.
One change we've made is to the GovCon Wingman membership. Wingman members will now participate in monthly roundtable planning and peer exchanges known as the CxOFED Wingman Cohort.
Individual Membership is changing to a monthly subscription and will also pick up some additional benefits as well.
Competitive Intelligence Bootcamp graduates can continue honing their Marketing, Business Development and Capture chops in the Competitive Intelligence Essentials (CI Essentials) program, a veritable Business Development Help Desk focused on helping companies increase the results they achieve in identifying customers and opportunities and winning business.
Companies wanting to carve out a piece of the ever-increasing federal spending under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures can belly up to the SAGE program that includes Education, Execution and front line, group-based support for engaging with agencies on real opportunities that amounted to over $21B in agency spending in FY2016.
The CxO Federal Forum is back! CxOFED is facilitated peer exchange for business leaders in federal contracting seeking to increase their knowledge, professional relationships and their ability to effectively lead organizations to identify and capture viable business opportunities for growth.
