About the Lieutenant General Henry Doctor Jr. Leadership Award
The award will honor LTG Doctor's legacy of leadership and giving and be presented annually to the top male and female cadet at South Carolina State University during the first semester of their senior year after completing the Leader Development and Assessment Course (LDAC). The Cadets are selected by the Professor of Military Science based on their performance in four categories: leadership, academic achievement, physical fitness and a strong desire to serve in the active component of the United State Army.
