About Margaret Timberlake, Co-Founder and President
Margaret is Co-Founder and President of The American Small Business Coalition where she is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization as well as Member Relations.
 
Prior to The American Small Business Coalition, Margaret worked with at-risk youth, both in the community and through residential treatment and as a human resources professional. Her experience in human resources has been in the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry, as a Human Resources Consultant to small and medium sized businesses. She developed training series for supervisors and managers, handled employment related EEOC and state claims of discrimination and harassment and written numerous employee handbooks.

Her knowledge of employee relations and compliance issues proves invaluable to Small Businesses. By directing business owners and executives to the appropriate sections of state and federal law, they are able to avert penalties and fines that could potentially shut them down by draining their financial resources, while also maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
