Government/Industry to Convene at Fifth Anniversary Conference and Gala for
The American Small Business Coalition on April 23 in Tysons Corner


In addition to “Celebrating a Culture of Collaboration and Success,” attendees will participate in focused discussions and briefings facilitated by leaders from Government Agencies and the Private Sector.

Columbia, MD — If you happen to be one of the many industry executives, owners and professionals around the nation seeking accurate and timely information about pursuing business opportunities with government agencies and those companies already doing business with them,you will probably want to be at the Sheraton Premiere Tysons Corner, Vienna, VA on Thursday, April 23 as The American Small Business Coalition (The ASBC) kicks off a day-long celebration interwoven with keynote speakers, breakout sessions and lots of networking specifically relevant to companies interested in supporting government agency mission requirements.


The Fifth Anniversary Conference and Gala (www.turningfive.com) will begin with a special edition of the Washington Breakfast Club™ featuring Shay D. He will discuss why and how the Defense Department plans to realign its acquisition strategy and increase its focus on competition, rebuilding its procurement workforce and creating more consistent requirements for contractors in the post-award process.

At 6:00 pm the party moves upstairs to the Capital Club to a cocktail networking reception to include entertainment by performers from the University of Maryland and the “Freeze Frame” Photo Booth where guests can duck in toget their pictures snapped and printed and preserved digitally for the Fifth Anniversary Photo Archives. The presentation of the Annual Member Awards will follow announcements and a wonderful seated dinner in the Capital Club.
