The mission of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners; and to perform these responsibilities in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the public and is faithful to the Constitution of the United States.
In pursuit of this mission, the FBI awarded more than $500M in contracts to small businesses for a variety of goods and services during FY2009.
In fiscal year 2010, FBI's total budget is approximately $7.9 billion, including $618 million in program increases to enhance their counterterrorism, computer intrusions, surveillance, weapons of mass destruction, white-collar crime, and training programs.
...and you are wanted by the FBI!
That is, they want information about you if you are a company participating in government contracting as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB) or HUBZone Small Business. They have asked The American Small Business Coalition to assist in identifying companies meeting the requirements of these socioeconomic programs and meeting the SBA Size Standards of the NAICS Codes contained in the form below.
The information collected will be submitted to officials at the FBI for use at the discretion of the FBI Acquisition Strategy and Planning Unit.
Responses to this form will be accepted until 5:00PM EST on Friday, July 30, 2010.
NOTE: The American Small Business Coalition is conducting this activity on a voluntary basis and is not a contractor to the Government. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only and the Government is under no obligation to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.
