Lisa Carey, Carey Coaching
Lisa Carey is the Owner and President of Carey Coaching.

Lisa has been described by her clients as energetic, passionate, insightful and dynamic. Her clients' success can be attributed to Lisa's talent to motivate people which leads professionals to achieve their optimal potential and sustain performance over the long run.

Along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Science in Management from Troy State, Lisa also possesses several important certifications including the International Coach Federation, Associate Certified Coach Designation (ACC), certified facilitator for Parent as Coach, as well as for the Life Blueprint Institute. She is a graduate of Coach University, and the Centre for Coach Training in Portland, Oregon. In addition, Lisa is a member of the International Coach Federation, Coachville, Business Network International, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Springfield Virginia Chamber of Commerce.

Lisa's tremendous strengths in the following areas make her an asset beyond description: leadership and management, marketing, sales, strategic planning, business development, customer service, and public speaking.  

Aside from her professional life, Lisa has 20 years experience in the U.S. Navy, retiring at the rank of Commander. Lisa Carey has an extensive background in computers, communications, and information security. Throughout her Navy career she held numerous positions that gave her experience in anti-submarine warfare, manpower and personnel, security, and anti-terrorism. This successful business coach is also a wife to Michael Carey and the mother of a 20 year old daughter Joanne. 

Pre-coaching career highlights include:
  • Awarded Department of Defense Anti-terrorism program of the year in 1993.
  • Command of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Washington , DC, 1998-2000 , with an annual budget of over 60 million dollars and 500 personnel.
  • First Chief Information Officer, Regional Information Technology Program Head, and Y2K Program Manager for Naval District Washington, Dc 1998-2000
