z2011 Holiday Charity Bash - Silent Auction Letter
Share |
Dear Friend:

The American Small Business Coalition Holiday Charity Bash™ is the National Capital Region's most festive networking and fundraising event, bringing out the best and most generous from the government contracting community at the start of the holiday season. Since 2009, sponsors, donors and guests have combined to raise more than $15,000 to retrofit housing for injured and disabled veterans, fund education programs for the children of military families and provide outpatient military care at Naval Medical Centers, to name a few.

As we prepare for this year's Holiday Charity Bash™ on November 30, 2011, it is my hope you will support us with a donation to the silent auction which provides the means for our charity partner to accomplish their goals. For the third year in a row The ASBC has partnered with the American Freedom Foundation (AFF), a 501(c)3 organization channeling $.95 of every dollar raised to programs supporting our military and their families through medical, rehabilitative and reintegration services for wounded warriors and family services including mentoring and child education programs.

Every dollar raised has great impact! The nearly $8,000 raised during the 2010 event was immediately used to help homeless veterans with care programs and job training initiatives. For 2011, our goal is to hand-over $10,000.00 to AFF by the end of the evening and we need your help!

In addition to supporting the mission of the American Freedom Foundation, this is a fantastic marketing opportunity that puts donor organizations front and center to an anticipated 300 guests from the government contracting and military communities. Donors’ names and/or company logos will be prominently displayed in the event program and on the silent auction signage throughout the event, as well as to 4,000 unique monthly visitors who will see links to donor websites on the event website.

For your convenience, you may click here to download a printable donation form and additional details on how to make a donation to support this event or visit http://www.theasbc.org/charitybash/donationform to complete the form online. If you have questions, please contact us at charitybash@theasbc.org or at 800-422-4960, x111.

For additional exposure opportunities, we also have sponsorships available that also provides great support for our military men and women. You can view details of the sponsorships at: http://www.theasbc.org/charitybash/sponsors

On behalf of The American Small Business Coalition, American Freedom Foundation and our military men and women and their families, thank you in advance for your support of the 2011 Holiday Charity Bash™!

Best regards,
Margaret
