Simplified Acquisition Snapshot North Carolina

If you do business with federal agencies in California, here are a few things you should know.

• DoD, VA, DHS and Justice and HHS are the top five spenders when it comes to simplified acquisitions in FY12 (YTD).
• Small business awards under this streamlined purchase method total $48,560,305
• Two NAICS Codes account for the top ten purchases paid for by purchase card with a combined value just over $1 million.
• Payments via the GSA SmartPay/SmartPay2 Purchase Card were $5.7 million dollars YTD and represented purchases that referenced 62 different NAICS Codes.
