Relationships Top Agenda for May 10th Government Contracting Event
Columbia, MD, Thursday, May 10, 2012 — On the
morning of May 10th, representatives from nearly one hundred small
companies seeking to learn all they can about the small business set-aside
contract named NSETS, converged on Columbia, MD to participate in the NSETS Industry Review hosted by The
American Small Business Coalition.
The event was
the result of discussions by and between members of the Small Business
Intelligence Community and Cyber Working Group (SBINT/CYBER) who saw need
to facilitate a comprehensive information exchange about the innovative acquisition
program run by the National Security Agency, which is currently preparing for
the third generation of NSETS.

enables NSA to competitively acquire agency requirements for business,
engineering, information technology, operations support, and training services
from teams of highly qualified small businesses.”
for the half-day event included briefings by officials of the NSETS II Program
Office, and a substantive industry discussion panel featuring representatives
from Exceptional Software Strategies
(ESS), Freedom Consulting Group, Praxis Engineering and Prime Solutions. Panelists provided
their perspectives on the overall benefits of participating in the program,
successes, challenges and tips for other small companies considering
participation as a prime or teaming partner.
