Sponsors Come to Attention for Annual 'Holiday Charity Bash' on 12/1 to Support Military Men and Women and Their Families

Second Annual Holiday Charity Bash sets goal to raise $7500 at event to support Wounded Warriors and families of service members killed in action in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Event features great federal sector networking, plenty of eats, a silent auction and raffle, door prizes, guest bartenders from SBA, Air Force, GSA, U.S. Army Logistics Innovation Agency, USAID, Washington Technology and Federal News Radio.

Columbia, MD November 24, 2010 - - When the doors open on the 2010 Holiday Charity Bash on December 1st, in between the discussions about the holidays and federal sector business opportunities, nearly two hundred guests from Government and Industry will embark on a journey to surpass the amount of donations raised last year to support our military men and women.

"At last year’s Holiday Charity Bash, our goal was simply to kick of the holidays with a festive social, and through our silent auction, raffle and guest bartender tips, write a donation check in support of the great work being done at American Freedom Foundation,” states Guy Timberlake, chief visionary officer and co-founder of The American Small Business Coalition. "We had no idea our sponsors and guests would provide us the means to write a check for more than $5,000 after only a couple hours.”

Critical to the success of activities like this is the support of sponsor organizations that choose to participate for any number of reasons to include an existing relationship with The American Small Business Coalition, an affinity to the event or cause, or the opportunity to garner valuable exposure for their organization’s brand.

The American Small Business Coalition is proud to announce the companies supporting this year’s Holiday Charity Bash:

I highly encourage all attendees to bring along some cold hard cash to purchase raffle tickets in support of our fund-raising efforts. I know it is difficult in this age of plastic but please think about all of the good that you are contributing towards when you stop at the ATM or ask your significant other for a $20 bill. The 50-50 raffle will let you help others and give you a great opportunity to take home more than you came with!
