B2G Charity Social on
12/1 Benefits Military Members Wounded in Action and Families and Children of
Those Killed in Action in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The
American Small Business Coalition again names American Freedom Foundation as
beneficiary of its annual Charity Bash featuring great federal sector
networking, plenty of eats, a silent auction and raffle, door prizes and guest
bartenders from SBA, Air Force, GSA, U.S. Army Logistics Innovation Agency,
USAID, Washington Technology and Federal News Radio.
Columbia, MD November 23, 2010 - - When the doors open on the 2010 Holiday
Charity Bash on December 1st, in between the discussions about the
holidays and federal sector business opportunities, nearly two hundred guests
from Government and Industry will embark on a journey to surpass the amount of donations
raised last year to support our military men and women.
"At last
year’s Holiday Charity Bash, our goal was simply to kick off the holidays with a
festive social, and through our silent auction, raffle and guest bartender
tips, write a donation check in support of the great work being done at American
Freedom Foundation,” states Guy Timberlake, chief visionary officer and
co-founder of The American Small Business Coalition. "We had no idea our
sponsors and guests would provide us the means to write a check for more than
$5,000 after only a couple hours.”
"Every
contribution makes a difference to the lives of our men and women in uniform
wounded in action, and the families of those who make the ultimate sacrifice,”
says Sergeant Major of the Army (retired) Jack Tilley, co-founder of the
American Freedom Foundation. "Through its efforts, The American Small Business
Coalition is helping us fulfill the AFF mission.”
