Issue Date: 12 October 2009

What changes will you make to your government sector strategy for process graphicFY2010?

What worked previously?

What did not?

Will the partners you leveraged last year still be relevant this year?

How does recent activity in the M&A sector affect your strategy?

These are among the questions facing business owners across the government market place as they grapple with "what next?"

CORE™ Small Business Members of The American Small Business Coalition are leveraging the resources of their membership as they make decisions affecting how they will identify, pursue and capture business in FY2010 and beyond and how they will partner to augment their efforts. The StratReview™ Assessment represents one of the tools we use to provide ongoing support to our Members.

What is your support mechanism? What is your plan?

For an idea of how we support our Members, please review the following comments from  Evans & Chambers Technology, LLC, a CORE™ Small Business Member:

From The ASBC Chief Visionary:
In Brief
guy at mic
Congress Balks.
In keeping with what has become an activity "We The People" have become accustomed to relying on for timeliness moreso than the Atomic Clock, the men and women of our Congress did not pass a budget.
Definitely not a news flash.

Here's the news.

Despite the efforts of the small business champions on the Hill, the language of  the Small Business Parity amendment included in the Senate's version of the Department of Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010 was removed during negotiations.

Like the budget, small businesses who support the mission of the government are taking a backseat to "more important" issues.

I wonder which issues those would be?
