SBINT Discussion: Homeland Security

IC LOGOAt 8:00am this Friday in a secured facility near Fort Meade, Jae Collins of Prime Solutions, Chairman of The ASBC's Small Business Intelligence Community Group, known as SBINT, will begin polling CORE™ Small Business, PrimeConnection™ and ChannelConnection™ Members for updates on business opportunities taking place with one of the sixteen member agencies of the U.S. Intelligence Community. Before the Corporate B2G Member portion of the SBINT Monthly Meeting concludes, several sidebar conversations  and follow-ups related to near-term opportunities will be scheduled.

At 8:45am, as Associate B2G Members and Not Yet Members arrive for the public Presentation Meeting segment, Jae will conduct a "go round" where everyone has the opportunity to introduce themselves to all of the other attendees, including our presenter. Shortly after the introductions are completed, Jae will hand the reigns over to this month's presenter, Ms. Kay Olive, Director of the Washington Homeland Security Roundtable.

In addition to her involvement in the kickoff of both SBInet and the Office of Global Maritime Situation Awareness/MDA, Kay served as a consultant on the winning team for one of DHS' largest and most comprehensive procurements, the Secure Border Initiative Technology component, SBInet, and worked with the PMO and USG customer in execution of the program for an extended period. Kay also participated in a non-profit quarterly working group with Secretary Chertoff and senior NAC leadership at DHS and has been selected by DHS to be an Official Observer for both TOPOFF3 and TOPOFF4, the DHS biannual exercise for comprehensive national preparedness.

Kay joins the SBINT Group this Friday to discuss current and upcoming business opportunities with DHS.
