Angela Dingle of Ex Nihilo Management, LLC to be honored with Eagle Spirit Award at ASBC5 April 23rd

Columbia, MD and Tysons Corner, VA (ASBC5) - - For the last four years, the Founders of The American Small Business Coalition have taken on the challenge of selecting from their membership, those individuals and/or companies who most closely "resemble" the criteria established for the seven awards presented during the organizations' birthday celebration. For the organization's Founders, Margaret and Guy Timberlake, that's typically not an easy thing to do.

The Eagle Spirit Award is presented to the Member who through their advocacy of The ASBC and support of other Members, best embodies the spirit and culture of The ASBC. This year's honoree is Angela Dingle, President of Ex Nihilo Management, LLC, a management and business consulting firm specializing in strategic assessments and Information Technology management. Based in Washington, DC, the company targets local, state and federal agencies to help them assess, plan and implement the processes necessary to meet corporate objectives and ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with industry accepted standards and organizational guidelines. Ex Nihilo Management has been a Member since 2007.

According to Co-Founder Margaret Timberlake, "In early 2008, Guy and I were talking with Angela when she mentioned a desire to work with women business owners to empower them as they pursued their business goals. An idea was floated to start a group for women business leaders within The ASBC and Angela basically took the idea and ran with it, never looking back once. Under Angela’s leadership, the Women's POCx has blossomed in a very short period of time into a productive and valued forum. The group's mission is simply to provide support to women leaders through peer exchange and by leveraging the experience of other community leaders. We regularly receive the most wonderful comments about how useful, warm and welcoming this group is, which we've discovered is definitely the norm.

Additionally, Angela is always willing to assist other Members and reach out to partner organizations to establish new channels that may benefit The ASBC and its Members. She also participates in the development of standards and criteria for acceptance to The ASBC CORE™ Membership program.

"Her attitude, leadership, perserverance and professionalism absolutley embodies the culture Guy and I work to maintain in The ASBC Community." adds Margaret.

If you would like to participate in acknowledging all of the Annual Member Award honorees, plan to join us on the evening of April 23, 2009 as The American Small Business Coalition applauds Angela and the others and celebrates five years of support to the government sector. You will be treated to an energy-filled cocktail networking reception with entertainment, a superb awards dinner and the "Freeze Frame" Photo Booth that will capture guest celebration memories in print and digitally.
