The POCx Women's Group is committed to adding value to The ASBC Community by providing content of specific interest to Women Owners and Chief Executives of companies doing business in and in support of the government sector.

The activities facilitated by the POCx Women's Group are intended to expand the knowledge base of company leaders and assist them in addressing business issues more informed and more quickly. Members will be polled regularly for their input so responsive information can be created and/or resourced from experts within the membership or from vetted experts outside of the membership.

The POCx Women's Group On-Call is a hosted teleconference or webinar activity featuring an influential leader from Government or Industry sharing his or her experiences and advice with current and future women business leaders.

Our guest for the February 3rd POCx Women's Group On-Call is Ms. Alexis Levi, a Mother, Former Registered Nurse, Entrepreneur, a Former Athlete and currently Owner, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Las Vegas Stars. Alexis is the first African American woman to hold these positions for a Men’s Professional Basketball Team. She is also co-host of the XM Radio Show Ladies on the Edge with Blanche Williams & Lisa Marie Jones.

As part of the continuing series on Networking and Social Networking, our guest for the February 10th POCx Women's Group On-Call is
Hazel Walker who has spent the last 15 years networking and teaching others to network. She started out owning her own Insurance Agency that she built using her networking skills and today Hazel is the Executive Director for BNI of Indiana, a Referral Institute Trainer, as well as a professional speaker and writer. Hazel is a member of the National Speakers Association and speaks to organizations around the world. She writes a weekly E-newsletter called, Referral Tip of the Week with a subscriber list of several thousand people around the world.

Participation is reserved for Women Presidents, Owners, and Chief Executives of Member companies.

There is no hidden agenda and this is not a forum for participants to make a sales pitch. This is an exclusive opportunity for business leaders to discuss issues they face with others who have been presented similar challenges as they pursue their business and personal goals.
