...and building relationships in the government sector is our business.

The presidential election is over and the nation has made its choice. Next January, change will arrive but what will it mean to you and your business interests in the government sector?

Some change is already here such as the recent GAO and Federal Appeals Court rulings, both with potential ramifications to all of government contracting and specifically small business contracting and subcontracting. Stay alert and stay informed and use your appointed representatives to express your opinions. Don't let someone else make decisions for you which may impede or deny you business opportunities.

On April 23rd, The ASBC will celebrate our five years of service to the stakeholders of Government Sector with a day-long conference at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons, VA. We hope you'll join us as we present special editions of the Washington Breakfast Club, a Lunch Keynote, Annual Membership Meeting and finally, the 2009 Anniversary Reception and Awards Dinner featuring presentations of The ASBC Member Awards.

It's going to be a great time and we hope to see you there!

Peace!
GT

2008 Holiday Mixer - December 10th!
SAVE THE DATE!!! The ASBC once again takes over the Atrium at the Tower Club as we celebrate the season with the 2008 Holiday Mixer at the Tower Club. This year, we'll be working to benefit the Tigerlily Foundation, a group started by breast cancer survivor Maimah Karmo to provide awareness and education to young women.

In addition to an open bar, great hors d'oeuvres and lots and lots of great networking, we'll have a silent auction featuring FUN items like a Flightseeing Tour for two of Harpers Ferry, Frederick, MD or Easton, MD. How about Rock Climbing Lessons for three at SportRock? Maybe a New Car - The Easy Way with the help of J.J. Gertler, Washington correspondent for Road & Track?

C'mon out and have a great time and help us benefit Tigerlily Foundation on December 10th at the Tower Club!
