The ASBC's New Resource for Principals and Chief Executives
The saying about it being lonely at the top has never been more relevant than now. Competition, business focus, rising costs, decreased profits, changing legislation, employee concerns and finance are among the business areas creating many sleepless nights. This is compounded by the limitation of whom you can discuss these concerns with and will they have a true appreciation of the challenges you face.
The American Small Business Coalition is pleased to invite the leaders of our Member Companies to join the President's, Owners and Chief Executive Officer's Silo, part of our Professional and Executive Development (PED) Committee. This exclusive group, known as the POCx is committed to adding value to The ASBC Community by providing content of specific interest to Owners and CEOs of companies doing business in support of the government sector. The activities and information facilitated by the POCx are intended to expand the knowledge base of company leaders and assist them in addressing business issues more informed and more quickly. Members will be solicited regularly for their input so that responsive information can be created and/or resourced from member experts or vetted experts outside of the membership.
POCx is lead by Art Medici, a tenured industry executive and a Member of The ASBC Advisory Board. Among his accomplishments, Art was the founding investor in Internet Commerce Corporation (ICC) in April 1997 and served ICC as CEO, COO and was a member of the Board of Directors in its current form as EasyLink Services International until January 2008.
Members are encouraged to leverage the resources of the POCx as a valuable decision-support tool. Participation in the POCx is a benefit of membership for Principals and Chief Executives of The ASBC Member Companies. Activities will include in-person and web presentations, discussion groups, special guest experts and more.
