InTEROS Solutions is Awarded LogWorld Contract – GS-10F-0032U

McLean, VA (November 2007) —InTEROS Solutions, Inc., a woman-owned supply chain and logistics solutions company, has been awarded its first GSA Contract, LogWorld GS-10F-0032U.

"We're extremely pleased to be awarded the GSA contract which gives InTEROS an opportunity to participate in government procurement programs with our supply chain and logistics service solutions," said Jennifer Bisceglie, president and founder of InTEROS. "This award is part of an ongoing strategy to make available our niche services and solutions to an ever-increasing number of businesses in the government and private sectors," Bisceglie added.

“Due to GSA's efficiency and responsiveness, InTEROS obtained a LogWorld award in a bit over 30 days from submission of the proposal. We are extremely appreciative of GSA’s willingness to expedite our offer based on impending business opportunities,” said Courtney Fairchild, president, Global Services, Inc. InTEROS selected Global Services to prepare the company’s GSA Contract submission due to their success streak at attaining over 500 GSA contracts for their customers.

Under the contract award, InTEROS will make available its supply chain and logistics consulting services to all federal agencies. InTEROS provides innovative, strategic, technical and operational assistance to public and private sector organizations wishing to strengthen their competitive position through enhancement of their logistics and distribution operations with reliable, secure, agile and scalable solutions. Key benefits include shorter cycle time of product to customer; reduced production costs (if manufacturer); reduced inventory costs (hits bottom line from an overall inventory-on-hand cost, reduces insurance for holding inventory and reduces space/land need for storing inventory); and better collaboration between trading parties (can include reductions in areas listed for ‘reduced inventory costs’ as well as reduced transportation costs and increased customer satisfaction with quicker delivery times).

InTEROS’s GSA schedule is effective November 7, 2007 through November 6, 2012.
