OmniStudio, a communications strategy and design firm in Washington DC, has been awarded a GSA schedule contract totaling $438,000 to produce the FCC's National Broadband Plan, which will be presented to Congress by mid March. The contract includes copyediting, design, desktop publishing and translation and accessibility services. Eileen Kessler, president of OmniStudio, said, "We're excited to be working on a project that will have such important and wide-ranging implications for the way citizens obtain and share information in our country." The contract, which is OmniStudio's first under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, requires a dedicated team of skilled editorial professionals who will work closely with FCC to produce this 500-plus page report.
