MISSION ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL (MEP) IS THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE'S LEADING PROVIDER OF TRANSLATORS, INTERPRETERS AND CULTURAL ADVISORS IN AFGHANISTAN, WITH MORE THAN 5,000 PERSONNEL IN THEATER AND HUNDREDS MORE IN AFRICA, ASIA, EUROPE AND THE MIDDLE EAST. MEP ALSO PROVIDES INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT AND TRAINING & TECHNICAL SERVICES TO THE MILITARY, INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS.
