Being "alone at the top” to face down the pressures of starting, managing and growing a company is but one of the challenges facing business leaders today.
If you are responsible for making business decisions related to your customers,
employees and organizational success in pursuing government contracts and
subcontracts, the POCx™ Forum is an opportunity to discuss the risks and
rewards associated with leadership, and solutions based on experiences of other Principals, Owners and Chief Executives.
POCx Forum offers purposeful discussions with Principals, Owners and Chief Executives of companies currently (or considering) pursuing contracts and subcontracts with civilian, defense and intelligence agencies. Each half-day session is a facilitated topic-driven gathering of business leaders sharing real-world experiences and discovering new approaches to business growth.
What's being discussed at this POCx Forum?
During the November 2015 session we'll discuss:
Essentials of Capture Management
“The components to winning government business”
This seminar will provide an understanding of what goes in to the process of identifying, qualifying and preparing to bid on government contracts. It will cover topics that start with defining a capture process and take you through all of the steps you will need to execute in order to be prepared to write a winning proposal. Some of the questions we will examine include:
· What are the major components of a successful capture process?
· What does it mean when someone says you need to “know your market place?”
· What do you need to do to stand out from the crowd?
· How do you plan a pipeline?
· How do you manage a pipeline?
· How good are your intelligence gathering skills?
· What does the end point – a proposal win strategy – look like?
