Being "alone at the top” to face down the pressures of starting, managing and growing a company is but one of the decisions facing business leaders today.

If you are the owner or key executive responsible for making business decisions related to your customers, employees and success in pursuing government contracts and subcontracts, the POCx™ Forum is an opportunity to discuss the risks and rewards associated with leadership.

POCx Forum is purposeful discussions with Principals, Owners and Chief Executives of companies currently (or considering) pursuing contracts and subcontracts with civilian, defense and intelligence agencies. Each half-day session is a facilitated gathering of business leaders sharing real-world experiences and discovering new approaches to business growth.

What's being discussed at this POCx Forum?

During the July 2015 POCx Forum we'll discuss specific ways of:

Powering Up Your Pipeline!

We'll begin with an excerpt of the ESGC Tactical™ - Making and Managing a Pipeline! presentation by Guy Timberlake followed by an interactive forum discussion about specific challenges and solutions companies experience in managing the process of finding, qualifying opportunities and relationships to grow their companies. We'll very specifically look at leveraging a pipeline as an information management and workflow tool to supplement risk management.

Topics to be discussed include but are definitely not limited to:

  • What is a pipeline and what purpose(s) does it serve?
  • How to be more efficient in developing business.
  • Lowering your C.A.B. fare (Cost of Acquiring Business).
  • What actions are required at different stages of the pipeline?
  • Applying 'extreme prejudice' to the shiny rocks in your pipeline.

To get primed for this discussion attendees are encouraged to review 'Do Opportunities Run Your Business?' located in the Visionary's Blog on GovConChannel.com.

Registration includes breakfast. Standard event terms are in effect. Pre-registration is required.

POCx Forum participation is reserved exclusively for individuals who are Principals, Owners or CxO's of companies providing goods and/or services to government agencies as a prime contractor, subcontractor or teaming partner.  Pre-registration required
