The Federal Procurement Data System Next Generation (FPDS-NG) is the U.S. Government's primary repository of transaction data for agency contracts subject to the reporting criteria specified by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). It is also a key resource for many free and fee-based third-party aggregators of government contracting data.
Information To Win™: FPDS-NG helps participants understand what data exists in FPDS-NG and how it can be used to positively impact marketing, business development and capture activities. When used as a driver for opportunity and relationship development, the information presented will prepare attendees to access, collect and exploit FPDS-NG information to improve their organization’s situational awareness of current and prospective customers, competitors, partners and opportunities.
Information To Win™: FPDS-NG Beginner
The FPDS-NG Beginner session provides a substantive overview of the FPDS-NG system to include how it is used by agencies, what information it contains and how often the information is updated. Attendees will participate in exercises to familiarize them with the capabilities of the ezSearch tool, exporting and manipulating exported data to provide answers to marketing, business development and capture-related questions.
