THIS EVENT IS FULL - REGISTRATION CLOSED.
According to a June 15, 2012 memo issued by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ) and the Air Force Office of Small Business Programs (SAF/SB) entitled "Increased Use of Small Business Concerns," the Air Force has determined it will have to award an additional $600M to $800M more to small businesses than projected for FY12.
To achieve this and future small business goals, Air Force is implementing several initiatives related to: Sources Sought notices; GSA Schedule, GWAC and Interagency Acquisitions; Multiple Award (MAC) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts and Air Force's use of the Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This complimentary, members only session is an excellent opportunity to engage in discussion with a senior level agency official directly responsible for influencing decisions and implementing policies related to small business involvement in Air Force acquisition programs. Topics for discussion include the recent memo issued to all Major Commands, Field Operating Activities and Direct Reporting Units, and the February 2012 Air Force Small Business Improvement Plan (SBIP).
Mr. Joseph M. McDade Jr., a member of the Senior
