Small Business Intelligence Community Working Group

AgencyInsight Briefings are an opportunity to garner accurate and timely knowledge about U.S. Government Agencies through productive discussions with officials from government agencies and industry executives doing business within those agencies.

The July 2011AgencyInsight Briefing
will feature officials from the National Security Agency responsible for Personnel Security, the polygraph and Industrial Security. This session will be especially helpful for companies new to doing business with this agency and those companies without a dedicated Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to prep candidates for the polygraph.

Tom Mauriello, Forensic Science Professor and US DoD Special Agent and Chief of Polygraph, will tell the "truth,” as he presents the polygraph process as it really is.

NSA Special Agent NSA/CSS OPSEC - Special Agent will discuss how sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter allow the good guys and the bad guys to share the same space. These sites can enhance the adversary’s ability to collect information through open source channels. The Social Networking Briefing provides information about the threats and vulnerabilities out there, and guidance on best practices to use while in Cyberspace.

Beth Endal, National Security Agency Customer Service - Ms. Endal will discuss who Customer Service is, standard processes, common pitfalls of contractors associated with clearances and how the Customer Service Team can help.
