Posted By Kelly Edington, Friday, September 03, 2010
THE COMPUTER MERCHANT, LTD. WINS VA CONTRACT AND LOOKS FORWARD TO MORE Norwell, MA The Computer Merchant Ltd. last month won a multi-year contract for IT Desk Top Support Services for the Department of Veteran's Affairs. The work location is in Washington, DC. Now that the VA has released its final Request for Proposal for its Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) program, with bids due at the end of this month and awards during September to 15 contractors (7 of them to veteran-owned small businesses), The Computer Merchant is confident it will be selected for additional staffing services on the T4 program. John Danieli, President and CEO feels although The Computer Merchant is not a small business, its 30 plus year history and excellent history as a federal IT supplier position it well for winning T4 business. The Computer Merchant is veteran-owned and Mr. Danieli is a United States Marine Corp veteran. Companies desiring to partner with The Computer Merchant should contact Kelly Edington at 781-405-5969 or kedington@tcml.com. T4 is "Contractor-provided solutions in support of information technology and telecommunications". The program ceiling is $12 billion, and the time period for performance is over 5 years. For further information, contact Daniel Webster, Sr. VP, Healthcare Practice, at The Computer Merchant, 781-878-1070 or dwebster@tcml.com.
