Diagnosis? A.D.D. due to way too many challenges, changes and other happening's in the government sector

Throughout the year (whether you track calendar or fiscal) issues associated with the way government and industry does business are pushed front and center. Right about now seems to be one of those times.

If you check out current headlines you'll see references to:
  • the Office of Federal Procurement Policy refining the agency-contractor relationship;
  • a recent ruling by a U.S. Court putting HUBZone firms at the top of the small business pecking order;
  • panel recommendations to overhaul the GSA Schedule Program;
  • SBA proposing changes to JV and Mentor-Protege relationships;
  • and the recent lawsuit by a small business suing over Air Force insourcing activities.
That's a small representation of proposed rules, legislation and happening's which can (and do) cause business activities on both sides to stall, resulting in a chain reaction of losses that hurts Government and Industry.

ust as in  the movie Star Wars when Gold Five told Gold Leader to "Stay on target!" on the wayGold Five to the Death Star reactor port while being chased by X-Wings, try not to be distracted. Rather, be mindful of them and ensure you understand if and when they will impact you as you work towards your goals and objectives.
