Didn't we just celebrate New Year's last week?
It's unfathomable that an entire year has passed already, when it seems like
we were just getting used to 2006.
This has been a whirlwind year for The ASBC. We've learned much and seen many
changes. Specifically, we've been able to carve out even more of a niche for
ourselves, which helps us stand out even more than we already did.
Some of the changes include:
- Expanded Leadership Opportunities
- Increased Support Services and Related Education
- New Alliance Partnerships
- Enhanced Collaboration Opportunities and Tools
- Focused Member Marketing and Exposure Opportunities (Public Profile Pages)
- and more!
The ASBC is involved in coordination and execution of activities at the FOSE
2007 Expo in Washington, DC. This event and our partnership with FOSE will
provide significant opportunities for networking with exhibiting companies and
government officials that will participate in many of the events we've
The Working Group program is expanding this year. In addition to the Small
Business Intelligence (SBINT)
Group and the Transformation Working Group, we'll be adding Information
Technology, Professional Services and Manufacturing Working Group Chairs and
Committees at the start of 2007. Each will focus on the programs at federal
agencies, where their respective products and services are leveraged, and create
and build upon relationships to facilitate productive public/private sector
Finally, the Business Leadership Council, the overarching group of
Member-Leaders within The ASBC have and will continue to take a very active role
in the direction of The ASBC and its programs, with significant direct input
from the membership as a whole.
