Simplified Acquisition Snapshot: New York

Simplified Acquisition Snapshot: New York
Since the start of FY12, over twenty federal agencies doing business in New York State have issued more than 14,000 contract actions (purchase orders, BPA Calls, etc.) valued over $112 million dollars using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). GSA, DoD, VA and Justice account for most of the activity with more than one-thousand contract actions issued by each agency.

If someone other than Jaime "I Love New York" Gracia of Seville Government Consulting can tell me which agencies (of the more than twenty agencies on record) are first, second and third in simplified acquisition spending in New York this fiscal year and you'll be my guest at an upcoming Simplified Acquisition Spotlight webinar of your choice. I'll give these passes to the first five correct responses emailed to and will announce the winners through my Twitter account @theasbcguy.

Winners will be contacted via email. Answers will be posted in the 4/30 edition of our weekly newsletter.

Would your company like to sponsor this article/blog? Each week it will contain timely, relevant information for small government contractors around the Nation. Click here for sponsorship details.
