After Focus Groups, Event Surveys and Many Direct Conversations,
the Lesson We've Learned is to Give the People What They Want!
Apparently, it's been right in front of us the entire time. What has, you ask?The answer, of course. Now it may not be the answer but it most certainly is an answer which has already made a significant difference in how we look at and implement our program offerings. The answer, as told to us by a number of our Members and a number of folks that participate as visitors in our publicly offered activities, is the fact we provide highly useful information in manageable forums that allow users to maximize their time networking and information-gathering to support their goals of their respective organizations. In fact, here's the feedback we received from Ray Preston, Vice President of Kiscal LLC who attended our annual conference in November:
"Congratulations on your 2010 B2G Essentials™ Conference. I have attended many
such events in the past and
always seemed to come away trying to comprehend and sort out a lot of
fluff. I have to say that I left the ASBC conference with a briefcase
full of substance items that I can’t wait to follow up on. Finally a
conference that drilled down to some real stuff.
Can’t wait to return next year."
That feedback along with the hundreds of other responses received from ongoing member surveys, polls and direct discussions have produced a result which we have already implemented but still have much to do.
For examples of how "the answer" has impacted us, take a look at our upcoming activities for Members and those open to the public.
