by Bill Scheesele in his recent WT installment (and by
others, many, many times over), today's "Economic climate calls for
proactive business development as the
catalyst for growth" I have no doubt my
last post in the CVO Blog was not very popular, especially among
companies who excel at providing IT products, services and solutions to
Uncle Sam. But as they say, don't shoot the messenger.
Last week I
said that insourcing was change and for a lot of folks, that change
will stink. This week, Bill Scheesele contributed "Do you have the guts
to be a visionary?" in Washington Technology, which further qualifies
the intent of my last post.
There will be those companies that
will resist change and continue to stand their ground, much like the Oak in Aesop's Fable. Others
will go the way of the Marine Corps motto and "Improvise, adapt and overcome."
It's always good to take a stand for something you believe in,
but that doesn't mean things are going to continue as they have.
dots are jumping off the page. Quick, connect them!
great week, and Peace!
