|Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors™|
Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors™ is an education program for federal contracting executives and professionals. The primary objective for anyone participating in the workshop and alumni group is to:
"Change how you find and use information to grow your business.™"
About the Program
Today, Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors™ is an intense eight-hour workshop delivered in two-four hour sessions that provides attendees with a highly interactive learning opportunity in a small group setting. The first session is a conversational lecture that builds a foundation of understanding by defining and discussing information, intelligence, market research, open sources, bid/no-bid and technical terms essential to government procurement. The lecture provides details on key open sources federal contractors can use to find primary and supplemental information to support business development and capture activities. Also presented are scenarios illustrating the use of key open sources and a process for developing and executing collection, assessment and utilization of relevant information.
Yes, there is homework.
The second session, the lab, is where participants are encouraged to break out their laptops or other device and begin to use the tips, tools and tactics discussed during the lecture. It begins with a substantive review and discussion of the homework and a facilitated practice session where participants ethically stalk information specific to their organization. Attendees observe the daily ethical stalking routine of an active industry business development executive/co-instructor and are then administered an "open book" assessment that requires them to utilize several of the methods and resources presented. The final instruction-based segment involves a step-by-step presentation on identifying and capturing open source information, and leveraging widely available tools to exploit and manipulate information in support of decision-making. The remaining lab time is reserved for open Q&A.
Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors™ provides real-world information that attendees can put to use immediately. As means to acquire information and the repositories of information change, so does the program content. Because of the dynamic nature of information and the business of federal contracting, no two workshops receive the exact same presentation. For this reason, all Ethical Stalkers have access to the resources of the ESGC Alumni/User Group.
Then there are the monthly meetings.
Participate in-person or via the web as we conduct trainings on new tools and information sources, and address questions submitted by alumni. It's an invaluable and unparalleled opportunity for networking and increasing your proficiency as an Ethical Stalker.
Remember, our goal is to help you understand which races you should run, and how to win them.
Testimonials for the program include:
"Ethical Stalking for Government Contractors™ should be mandatory for anybody in a Business Development role in a small business. In the four hours I spent in your class, I learned more than I had in over a year of trial and error on my own. Additionally, that afternoon I researched one of our upcoming opportunities, and was able to find some pieces of information that I needed and even GovWin didn’t have."
- Richard Basom III, Business Development Manager, InfoTek Corporation
"The Ethical Stalking seminar was truly an eye-opener for me. After many
years in the industry I wasn’t convinced I was going to learn anything I
didn’t already know. I was dead wrong. I wish I would have taken this
course 10 years ago. I strongly recommend anyone of any experience level
to attend this course. It has saved me time and money, the two most
valuable resources a small business has.”
- Robert Whitfield, VP Operations, Patriot Group International
I just wanted to say that the training you provided for MAGIC was outstanding!
It was a pleasure meeting you and the training you provided on the FPDS system and market research was both practicable and timely for myself and my staff.
I look forward to attending any other training of yours that I can! Thanks!!
- Janice Dearman, Sr. Director, Cherokee Nation Businesses, LLC
The information you taught is incredible and the
way you presented it is
I would highly recommend this
class to any business looking to improve their process for building a federal
pipeline from the point of inception to proposal submission.
However, I would not like my competition to have these applications - from a competitive standpoint. Take that as a compliment.
- Christopher Cole, Business Development, NPC Inc.
